Food Expo 2008
FOOD EXPO - 2008 being organised during IFCON - 2008 during 15-19 December 2008 at Mysore. The aim of FOOD EXPO - 2008 is to provide an opportunity for the manufacturers and entrepreneurs to display their latest innovations and equipment for food processing and bring the user agencies and suppliers together for efficient technology transfer. It will provide a platform to understand and assess the needs of individual entrepreneurs and manufacturers with regard to food processing and provide a chance to introduce newly developed products/ technologies/services. In short, FOOD EXPO-2008 will provide a forum for technological and economic co-operation amongst participants for strengthening the food processing sector in general. FOOD EXPO-2008 will be a reflection of developments in the field of Food Science and Technology.
Exhibition and display facilities to encamp a selective spectrum of food products, machinery services, packaging, food ingredients, adjuncts and protectants, will be available for about 50 participants. With more than 4,000 delegates expected to participate in this convention, the exhibition will promote active interaction between buyers and sellers in order to provide a source of information to participants and visitors. FOOD EXPO-2008 will certainly have an International fervour. The very latest and the best technologies in the realm of food processing will be on view. FOOD EXPO-2008 will bring in along with the trade visitors, important decision makers, buyers, representatives, top management executives of the food related industries from all over the country and from overseas.

REGISTRATION
Each stall will be of 10 x 10 feet size and all basic amenities will be provided. The charges per stall will be Rs.50,000/- for Indian Companies and US $2000 for foreign companies. The details of exhibition plan and facilities available at the stall will be sent on request.
